Shelby Dziak

Two-sport freshman Shelby Dziak is making her mark this year for the Roaring Lions. The Eighty Four native is leading the softball team in batting, hitting .343 with a .432 on-base percentage. The kinesiology major, also a talented golfer, has settled into her role as the starting catcher and lead-off batter for the Roaring Lions, leading the team in at-bats, plate appearances, batting average, walks and runs scored. Dziak recently went 8-for-17 over a three-day stretch in which Fayette hosted three conference doubleheaders, helping the Roaring Lions to a 4-2 record last weekend. Dziak is the daughter of Jamie and Charlie Dziak.
